^Technically they aren't mudguards, that's the piece that goes behind them right? They are splash guards.

Yea well, either way serve same purpose. Actually they dont. Mudguards keep debris from hitting other cars off you tires and splash guards protect your bumpers right? So would the front be considered a mudguard and the back a splashguard?

The OEM name for the add on piece for the front and rear are splash guards.

The piece behind the splash guard in the line with the bumper behind the rear wheel is called a mudguard.

I didn't know the "proper" name for these until Ashley (nfsp1) posted it up in his DIY for the rear bumper swap.
