I debated riding dirty with no front plate but my city is like a playground for cops.

no matter what chris they do look good. Several ways you can tell they are not powdercoated. Mostly they are plastic. You have to ground out the part for powder to stick. Another issue is the oven is anywhere from 400-475 degrees so most plastic parts will melt or distort

Depends....usually the first is just a fix it and court fees are $25 with proof of correction. Not sure if it's the 2nd or the 3rd one, but there is a fine attached to it (or could be). And I think I read somewhere if you are cited for the same thing 3 times within a year it can be added to your record as a point.

I've gotten pulled over too many times for no front plate, decided to just throw it on the lower vent with zipties. Don't get hassled for it, but they still could since it's not "secured". It needs to be bolted on. Sucks that my car is so damn loud I'm an easy target, even without flashy @ss wheels.

Chris, valve covers look great!

Depends on the type of ticket, whether it's a fix-it or if the officer decides to make it a more serious """"violation"""" (come on, please, who gives a fvck about front plates ). I paid $20 since they were fix-its.
