I wanted to see how it looked, but will probably end up painting it cuz I like the way it came out. Gotta thank Ashley for the idea.

Definitely like the second one better the vertical bars don't stand out as much.

Props to Ashley for the idea.

Yeah similar if you are talking about the grill. The Ionic grill has a few subtle differences vs OEM emblemless.

by far the floating horizontal bars look better... I was gonna mention it (when you posted first version) but didnt want to bash the look of your new grille - but yes, hiding the verticals is a must (IMO) and it's not a new idea - I had Randy do it on the first version of my painted grille several years back, he thought I was OCD but did it anyway... my new version isnt - it's not as noticeable on my color, but it's very noticeable and WAY better with your color.

Just my dos pesos (which are of little value to some, but I like giving props with little things like this - it makes a huge difference in the whole of things... to many people overlook the details).

Thanks everyone here are a couple of pictures I took tonight that really show off how much better it looks with the supports hidden. Since everything behind the grill is black, they just kinda disappear.

And Mike (and everyone else) while I appreciate your comments I'd rather get your honest opinions from the start, no matter how brutal they might be. The more feedback I get the better. I'm just glad Ash mentioned blacking them out because I probably would never have thought to do it.

Sorry, pulled a stoner move even though I haven't smoked the hippie lettuce for over 15 years. Flashback I guess.
