The look what I bought thread

I think we have the same logic just in different directions.
My way of thinking is: if it doesn't make much gains anyway, why not go ahead and plate it, it's not that much weight, still lighter than stock, and chrome will almost always be less upkeep and look better than polished.

I'm so **** about crap like this that I cant even find wheels... will an extra five pounds really make a huge difference? Not for most people - but I cant bring myself to do it because the car was built with as much performance in mind as possible (considering what it is)... I'm bummed that it gained over 80lbs in body work (was exactly 100 with the OEM Ake brakes, but I got some of that back recently).
Anyway - I'm so impressed and excited by Marcus lately because he has turned a new leaf and is (or seems to be) performance conscience with his current mods. To me that's paramount and makes a big difference from the boatloads of others... I don't care if the car looks fast or has shiny bells & whistles - its a wannabe unless the details are paid attention to... and it's MUCH harder to tactfully mod a car with performance in mind as well as make it aesthetically pleasing... I like that Marcus is considering performance lately - I respect that a lot!
So with that... yes, polished over chromed pulley.

lulz. No! Then I'd need a new video card too, and I got to save SOME of my money for the G!
I've been wanting to run dual 22s for a while now.
I have a single 22, and I'd just buy another just like it... if I could find one They don't make my monitor anymore, and I've had almost zero success in finding them used
It's ok though, I've seen this monitor in person, and it pwns my current monitor anyway.

The space my monitor sits in is vertically limited, and my desk isn't very deep, therefore I'm not that far away from the monitor. 21.5 is plenty enough for me, and still seems to be a nice "sweet spot" for $/sq-in. (this monitor is about 1.8sq-in / $ whereas the 24" version of it is only a little over 1.5)
I'd much rather have two 22" monitors than one 27" (and the 2x22s are cheaper!)
