First xbox (original, 20GB model) is giving up the ghost after ~3-4 years of service. No RROD, just freezing, "disc read errors", etc. so I plumbed the holiday shopping deal depths and found that bundle for $300 on amazon (no taxes) and also a $75 credit towards future amazon purchases

Edit: finally redeemed the halo: reach download code yesterday.... and ended up playing until 2am
