Glad to help

I did my stock ones like that, but I want to redo clear ones because you can still see the amber just slightly if the light hits it just right.

nice, what i did was 2 coats of niteshades but did it a little less heavy on the "bump" part of my clear corners since thats where the light shines thru, then i did 1 coat of clear, then wetsand with 1500 then another coat of clear, then wetsand with 2000grit and then 2 coats of clear and then rubbing compount and wax. I used a blowdrier in between sprays so it would only take like 2 minutes to dry lol. Clear was a must for me after wetsanding cuz it dulls it out, but some people use a polish with a buffer to bring the shine back

^Wow. That's way more effort than I did with mine. I just did I think 3 coats of niteshades then used a headlight restore kit with the sandpaper and glaze stuff you wipe on. Sadly the restore kit did moch better on my markers than the headlights

Sounds like you did a really nice job though. Got pics of how they turned out?

i googled "wetsanding after tinting tail lights" which is the same procedure as sidemarkers, and found a thread on some VW tail lights, that's what the guy did and they came out nice. No pics FTL lol i'm still waiting on my new camera to arrive since the old one as you know crapped out on me , i emailed the guy cuz is been like more than 2 weeks. He said is coming from China and sometimes it takes like 20 days, i'm not even gonna try to take one with my camera phone lol thas worse than my old camera.

Very nice job. What about your rear? I tinted my tails, blacked out mount fuji and debadged everything else. I attached a pic of my ride, I think this look will look real mean on your ride.

^Still not bad though. Keeps the red from being so "loud" against the black.

My tails are actually painted, no overlays. I wanted a light tint because it still gives off an OEM look. Plus I really do want people to see my rear lights when I hit the brakes during a bright shiny day

^^^ the LEDs light up real bright - even in the brightest of daylight... if they arent seen by motorist behind you, there is something wrong with their eyesight... I've had cops behind me while braking & turn signal, never an issue (and mine are as dark as any I've seen on a G, even darker than I'd like but there's a reason - thats another topic)
