there are places that do black chrome affect on plastic... they vaporize colored pellets... I looked into it years ago when considering black-chroming mine. There's a place in Rancho Cucamonga, CA that does it, but I forget the name...

 

if you decide not to keep them - let me know... looks like the front offsets might not be aggressive enough though... what are the specs?
