tanks, lines and hardware... they add weight

I'm not knocking it - it's cool and am glad you like it... it will make the car look hawt...

it's just that I was under the impression that you were going a pure performance route with some of the other recent tricks you've done...

15lbs is awesome! I figured it would be 2-3 times that.

Sweet

yeah, it's a pretty compact air tank and compressor since it only need to lift 2 front pistons

the stuff in the trunk is about 15lbs and the cups that sit on top of the front coils are prob 1-2lbs each, so under 20lbs all together

plus the lines running to the cups... and whatever fittings/attachments...

Still, pretty light - I would have thought 30-45lbs ttl... so even at 20 it's a pretty light system... definitely a lighter option than bags.

But considering the intended use, weight really isnt an issue... not as if they would be on a full track car...

outside of the trunk unit and the cups it's just some 3 pieces of high PSI plastic hoses to a small t-splitter, maybe a few ounces at best.

yeah, mainly used on exotics.

I would say it added 30lbs MAX. The tank is very light for what it is. The lines and 8 3/4" self-tapping screws and 15-20 zip ties don't weigh more than a pound combined, lol.

Ok, I gotta ask. I read through a good part of this thread and seen some of the "rare" or unique customizations, and I gotta say WOW! Some of you take care to the smallest detail. I like that. But one thing I noticed is so many saying they have "JDM" this and that. How the hell do you get JDM stuff? I've tried searching to no avail. Any links to some of the more common JDM mods? Tail lights, visors etc?

Anything from japan is probably gonna be pretty hard to get these days (since the earthquake)... for taillights, visors, etc places like riverside Infiniti and various vendors are/were a source - but I suspect inventory is slim these days...

I would agree on the difficulty of obtaining JDM parts at the moment. I just cancelled my order for JDM taillights after waiting for 6 months with no delivery on the horizon. Talked to Coz@CZP and they've been waiting 9 months.

Good news is I'm using my refund to get a set of ART pipes.
