UPDATE:First K2 Front on a Sedan!!

UPDATE:
Got a teaser shot for you guys. I need to fiberglass them together but I think it looks waaaay better than the integrated grille that came on the k2.

Before anyone says anything, I KNOW MY CAR IS DIRTY, I KNOW MY FENDER IS DENTED, AND I'M STILL WORKING ON THE BUMPER!!

I bought the bumper from strafe (pm dustin@strafe for more info) and I was really impressed with the quality, price, and shipping time. The only part I didn't like was where the side markers popped in. It was fiberglass and required a lot of filing to get them to fit. I decided to drill out the rivets in my stock bumper and use the oem metal brackets to hold my newly purchased non bump clear corners.

I am currently on the fence about keeping the integrated grill, or using my oem stock grill. I think my stock grill would look the best, I just don't know how easy it's gonna be to get it to work correctly. What do you guys think?

It's starting to warm up here in Nebraska, so I will be updating this thread as I progress.

So with that said, enjoy:

+1 for the distance shots....and it looks good man you definitely made up my mind for me. I'm thinking about painting the grills black though to make them not stick out so much..

Yea I plan on replacing the mesh with some better quality stuff. customcargrills.com has some decent black mesh I might look at

Just how much the mesh stood out was the only thing keeping me from already buying the bumper but painting it black will definitely look a lot better.

I like the lower grilles, but I'd put the stock grille back in. Ultimately your decision, of course. Although, maybe it'd look a lot different if it was clean and shiny (sorry, I had to).

It looks good, the top of the bumper and the hood are off by about an inch. Maybe if you put the OEM grill it will help. So far it looks much better than most would have thought. Nicely done.

another vote for the OEM grill. Otherwise, it looks very good. Now wash that damn car.
