My 05 OB 6MT Progression Thread
If there was anything I was going to drive all the way to CA for, that would be it... just can't quite do it though.
^ lets fly and get a car rental....Id like to see all these sick sedans in person.
The only thing that worries me about the trip is, i don't think it lasted that long last yr.

We could have all the sick sedans on the east-side pitch in and hire a car-hauler.... and then we would all be a nervous wreck
That would look crazy awesome going down the road though

^We do see each other, but there usually aren't a ton of Sedans in one place at one time. The Sedan GTG was the first meet ever where there were more Sedans than Coupes. Most meets only have 10-20% Sedans and the rest are Coupes. We had a ton of heavily modded Sedans at the GTG last year, this year will be even bigger!
^^^ +1
I've been to meets that had 50-75 coupes and only one or two sedans other than me.
For those that dont know, this is why we put the "Sedan" meet together in the first place...

Johnny so many things to consider for a photo shoot location. I like to look for open, flat areas without a lot of poles that would look weird growing out of the car. Personally I prefer industrial settings to shoot cars. I shoot a lot in Downtown LA. I look for walls that aren't too busy and would provide a uniform even backdrop. I like the contrast between a clean car and a gritty industrial background.
What city do you live in again? I would recommend you look at photos of where the car photogs shoot in the area where you live. You can use flickr too to search for shooting locations.
Your photog should definitely plan to shoot your car at sunrise or sunset in nice even lighting (assuming he isn't using strobes).

Park it on the beach... can't go wrong:

............what do you mean "illegal" ???
Me too.
Sometimes you can do good in an empty parking garage... but you'll probably need flashes.
