I'm really not kidding though... I've been on the phone with soooo many Indian techs before that I've become quite adept at hearing through even a really thick accent.

Anyway, Dad could barely understand the guy as it was, then after the job he insisted on sitting down for some drinks and this guy drank a LOT.
If you think a thick Indian accent is hard, try adding the slurred speach of half bottle of Johnny Walker Black to the mix...
I ended up having to translate about half of what the guy was saying to my Dad
