I've been drooling over rookie, deftronix, accordfreak and speedraver's interior LED swaps for a long while now. At a recent show I was approached to contact Sean from LEDmod.com to be the first G35 to have an interior LED swap done by them. Sean is a super knowledgable guy when it comes to LEDs, its all he does everyday.
I wanted a white and blue theme to go with the color of my car. Hard to capture the exact color of the LEDs but you get the idea. We are calling this a prototype because Sean knows he can make the lights look even better. Once we are done the production version will have brighter white buttons and bluer numbers/letters on the instrument cluster (via a custom gauge face that he won't have to sand which causes imperfections in the color). Will also do a couple of the lines in the instrument panel slightly different in the production version.
Many of you know that I am also working on an audio build to be completed sometime next year. Sean has already swapped out the LEDs in my JDM DD kit so when I install it all the lights will match.
I'm very pleased with this initial version and can't wait till we finalize everything. Should be 1 month or so till we have everything completed.
Lights that were swapped:
1. Instrument Panel - outer lines white, inner characters blue
2. Clock/temp display - white characters, blue background
3. OEM Radio - white buttons
4. AC Control - white buttons, blue indicator lights
5. Window (front and rear), VDC, dimmer, trunk release buttons - white buttons
6. Shifter position - white characters
7. Ignition - white ring

if he makes one for the 04 sedan cluster. i will definatly buy one. or what would be even better is if i could get the cluster and then all the leds to swap into everything else as a package deal.
