Wrapped door handles and clear corner

Today I wrapped the passenger side of the car to see how I like the look. It's my first time wrapping anything so there are a few small air bubbles but I'm getting a hang of it. I still have to test out the clear corner at night to see if enough light passes through.
What do you guys think?

Sorry for the filthy car

the bubbles should go away over time.. Not when its cold tho in the heat they will. I wrapped my door handles and chrome trim accents and did not like the results TONS of bubbles.. 2 days in 100 degree weather couldnt find one. very glad I kept it on there instead of getting pissed and ripping it off. 2 years later and still vinyl wrapped and matches my OB exactly!

You can also use a tiny needle to put a pin size ***** in it and squeeze the lil bit of water out.

I'm not big on the blacked out CC's, but the handles look great. I've thought about wrapping the trim and door handles my OB sedan. Where'd you get your vinyl?

Ya. Just like tint you should use solution of water and mild soap so the adhesive can be maneuvered while you are putting the vinyl on. It makes it 100% easier to move and fit. Then you squeegee it out and it also helps to move the vinyl and prevent air bubbles from staying in.

Ohh I never used water and soap to wrap mine.. Doesnt the vinyl have to have a certain kind of adhesive on the back to be able to use water.. for example tint will not be ruined by soap and water and when it dries the adhesive sticks..

i dont think the OP used water with his I think it just had bubbles just from air or dirt.

Can you use soap and water on any vinyl tho? I have to wrap some things and I wanna try it but dont wanna ruin the adhesive on the back to where it loses its stickyness..

Looks good acr! If you don't mind me asking, what brand vinyl did you use and where did you get it? I want to get my door handles painted eventually, but if the vinyl will hold up I will do this asap.

Thanks for the comments.

This is the vinyl I used:

At $4.95 shipped, you can't really go wrong. I may buy more if I decide to wrap my window trim.

I cleaned the handles with rubbing alcohol, then made used scrap paper to get the general size of the handle. Then I cut out a section of vinyl to fit the handle.

I'll try the water method on the other handles and report how it goes. The only thing I'd be concerned about it is making sure the vinyl adheres to the back of the door handle when it's wet. I already can't wrap around the ends of the handles without having small wrinkles, even while using a heatgun. I'll also using the needle method to get rid of existing bubbles in a few days, just in case the wrap behaves like window tint, where bubbles eventually disappear by themselves.

I am going to unwrap the clear corner. It doesn't look that great. It was good practice for wrapping the door handles, though.

How has yours held up so far? I assume there are different grades of vinyl and some are better than others.

That looks like a good deal. I bought from RVinyl mostly because they have videos showing how easy their vinyl is to apply. The vinyl from Amazon is probably similar though.
