If Pnut were still around, he'd win best interior overall! Everything flows and you can never go wrong with recaros and a pair of takata harnesses

<meaningless_ post> I just can't see having racing seats in a daily driver. They clash with the interior and you taking out an airbag that could possibly save your a$$.</meaningless_ post>
i dunno i watched some videos on youtube with antisubmarining harnesses and aftermarket seats and it showed them as being safer. As for airbags i hate em i got in a wreck and they didnt go off and another time it went off and burned half the skin of my forearm im glad it didn't scar though.
i wouldnt use the back seat belt points its not safe at all the angle at which the seatbelt needs to be as close to oem as possible thats why on rollcages and harness bars are up above the head to stabilize the body from straight back not down
Actually, useing the rear baby seat anchors is usually the best place to mount from. I can't remember ever seeing Pnuts rear seats, but if they are mounted into the baby seat anchors than most companies actually recommend that.
When you go to 4 and 5 point harnesses the OEM point is completely knocked out of consideration because it no longer plays a roll in your restraint. Companies like Takata do not use ratchets like OEM seatbelts do. You are ALWAYS locked in and tight as the harness can go on your body, hence why they are safer. Be it if they are mounted on the ground or on the rear deck, the final pivot point is on the back of the seat (through the belt holes)
I can't recall at the moment, but I pretty sure the sedan has rear deck mounts for baby seats. That would be the ideal place to mount from if not planning to run a rear support.
4 and 5 points are not for daily driving and are really not intended for anyone that sues their back seats. Whcih is always why when you see track cars with full seats and harness, the back seat is metal bench.
