Quote: Nice progress, and quick progress too. I'm pretty curious to see the final product as well.
I got the back M3 lip on pics up in a couple hrs.
With the M3 style lip its kinda hard to do a peck type trunk like G35papa and ttank... that's because the m3 lip has is a very short lip and is basically on a 45 degree angle. So I put the lip on the back of the trunk upside down so its kinda flat with the trunk. Hard to explain pics coming soon!!!

G35Papa and Ttrank both have the HikkataDori trunk lid. Not the M3.

G35Papa formerly had the UT lip (rare and no longer made)
And Ttrank formerly had an OEM spoiler.

Its the style that I'm try to replicate with the lip it won't be as high or round but similar.
I'm just trying to have a trunk with the lip in it.

Quote: Maybe paint it this purple

I was trying to imagine this on a G sedan last night I cant tell if it would look good or not. I like the purple tho.

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

The only thing about this purple I am not sure of is in the sun it lightens up ALOT it looks almost like a completely different purple. So Idk about that on a Sedan.

I like it !!! I was thinking of the little extensions that go on the headlights. popular with the coupes I was thinking of doing it or molding it in to the hood...!!!!

Ok people the lip is on!

Let me explain what im going to do. First its not a add on im trying to do. The lip will become one with the trunk. i dont want a huge trunk like Ttank and the others i named as examples. The pic above with ocdg35 is how i would like it, just a little bit more lip than his. I havent had time to finish the lip. I also have to wet sand the doors. i will do that before i go to the paint shop. The bumper will be on soon !!

Quote: Ive been doing paint and body for 11 years so if you need advice just pm me. I would hate to see sand scratches and stuff come through on you or use some bad products.
tell me what you think! Keep in mind that the doors still have to be wet sanded!!!
