3 inch Mandrel Bent Exhaust // HKS LEGAMAX (3 inch)
Ok, I finally got around to buy the bends and pipes needed to make the full 3 inch Stainless Steel exhaust.
My previous setup went as follows:
DC Sports Headers, Crawford Z High Flow Cats, Top Speed Pro-1 Y-Pipe, 2.5 Inch Custom MagnaFlow Mid-Pipe, HKS LegaMax Dual Tipped Muffler.
Sizes:
2.25 > 2.25 > 2.5 dual to 3 inch flange, 2.5 Flange to 2.5(HKS)
The car had some rasp. Made good torque but lost the top end power. Overall I was happy with the setup but did not like the rasp.
So here is the new setup:
DC Sports Headers(2.25), Crawford Z HFC's(2.25), Top Speed Pro-1 Y-pipe(2.5dual to 3inch flange), 3inch Flange to 3 inch extreme Racing Technologies full race (Square Oval 3inch in 3 inch out), removed the 2.5 pipe that comes from the HKS Legamax and welded a true full 3 inch 304 stainless steel section onto the HKS muffler.
Extreme Technologies Racing Muffler:

HKS Legamax Sedan Muffler:
32008-BN001
65mm = 2.559inches
83mm = 3.267inches
The internals of the Muffler made me change the pipe collecting the gases.
The Dual tips are isolated, spectacular interior and exterior construction.
each isolated area is 1.524 inches in diameter. So going full 3 inch did not hurt the muffler one bit.
Additionally, the HKS Legamax Muffler has one flaw from factory. there is a slanted plate bracket which is designed to act as a relief for weight/vibration/tension so that the pipe does not crack at the point where it meets with the canister. It is welded on from the bottom ... (fail). I cut it off, and welded the bracket on the topside.

Definitely opened the engine to more power past 5k RPM... before the engine would choke.
Welds were made thick intentionally. I hate it when pipes crack because of thin welds, usually I've found that Stainless steel (thin walled) cracks easily when the welds are thin mostly due to the fact that you are slightly distorting the metal in such a thin area. By making it thick it'll hold around the flanges a lot better. (It's tried and tested by me at the least).

Are you local?
I honestly didn't plan on selling it as I have other project cars but It's really a cut and weld for the G sedans. I'm willing to help you out.
PM ME an offer (remember plus shipping if you are not local).
