Its strange, until you posted that picture i never noticed the 05/06 hood has a crease line in the center...

 

Really? Yeah the 05/06 had one line down the ceter with the 03/04 have the two lines. I think the 03/04 hood is more aggressive, 05/06 a bit "cleaner"

 

I hate the 03/04, I've tried so hard to like it, but I just can't get into it.

I'm actually going to shave mine down flat, hopefully the crease lines in the grill don't stand out too much when I do

 

i agree with marcus.. the hoods on the 03/04 look a bit more aggressive.. i guess bc it looks bulkier?? and it goes really well with the whole front end.... hood>grill>nismo it all ties in with the lines... as for the 05/06 the hood has a sleeker feel to it and the grill looks way more aggressive on it and fits well with more aftermarket bumpers.... but they both look good!

 

Wouldn't trade my hood for anything.... Hate the 05/06 crease in the hood and without the cowl it looks like ****....

The 03/04 grows on you, sure, but I don't think infiniti made a bad decision at all with anything in the front end change. All thumbs up from me in 05/06.
