Personally.... Vossen are overpriced chinese wheels with a company run by sub bar customer service reps. Some of them are good looking wheels, but for the price I can rattle off a never ending list of wheels I would buy or build that would be superior in every way for the same amount of money.
As for the 20" wheel weight dealio there are tonnes of wheels that are about 20lbs, 19" and don't break the bank. But keep in mind, running 20s regardless of the weight is going to slow you down. A 19x10 20lb wheel vs a 20x10 20lb wheel on identical car, the 19s will always take it. It's not only unsprung weight, it's also overall rolling diamater and revs to get rubber to rotate.
Hence why track Z/Gs run 17s if they're actually serious.

As long as you're polite she's the exact same way back lol
However if it was Christian in here.... I'd be banned for even saying that haha.
Speaking of light weight wheels, fresh outta the oven. Ex SG motorsports CCW classic race edition, swissed and all.
Better pics to come, I'm in for some fun with fixing the lips.

The diameter doesn't change though here, I think what you mean is the location of the weight on the radius. a 20" rim has the bulk of the rim weight farther out on the radius which makes it harder to turn than the same amount of weight further towards the center (fulcrum).
The best thing about the weight-game, is that tires are signifigantly heavier than rims. Spending money on a light weight tire will net WAY more difference. No one checks the weight of the tire though.
The tire is the furthest out from the fulcrum, and thusly has the most impact on the rotational weight. Unless I"m way off the deep end in my understanding of physics, which is possible.

And to keep up with the thread topic
I kind of like this picture

Fair opinion... What are some of those wheels you would have instead? I'm curious because 2k is about my budget for wheels this year and I can't seem to find anything that's not cast, weighs a decent amount, and will fit decent. I never seem to stumble upon good lighter weight wheels that don't cost 3000+ for the set.

Yeah everything I've seen for 'light-weight' pretty much ends at 19". Makes sense.

90% of good sticky tires are heavy as ****, so you'll be in a battle between wheel spin and sticky to weight ration lol (I made that up, but it works)

I sold my SA67Rs in that fitment weighing in at 19lbs a pice for $1550.
