SMH...people just love to find ways to separate themselves...
I have owned coupes and sedans, I'm no "boy racer" and all of my G's have been executed in a clean way.
It's time to heal the G community! Bring us back together in love!
BTW If you are members of both G facebook pages...the sedans FAR outstrip the coupe group for "racing stories" most of them ending with something along the lines of "stupid coupes, don't they know sedans are faster AND lighter" (google the truth of the weight diffs...it's true...but only if by 22 lbs

I get the playful banter and the fact that there are indeed some 16 year olds crying til mommy buys them a coupe...which I have my own opinion on (EFF THAT) But really...it's non-stop coupe hate and I feel like it's starting to take away from the community.

This is one community for all of us to benefit and learn from.
The whole weight thing gets blown out of proportion. The weigh difference between coupe/sedan does not differ much from year to year. In fact, the 05 6MT coupe/sedan weigh the f-in same otherwise it's only a few pounds and the full sized spare in sedans can make up that difference. It's a driver's race. Period. Don't go making stupid threads with retarded stickers bashing coupes and thanking coupe bashing replies. Last time I checked, the Z is also a coupe on the same g-damn platform.

I have to agree with this 100%. The coupe bashing needs to stop. "Excommunicating" someone because they put coupe parts on their sedan is ridiculous. Yeah, I said it. So what if a member installs coupe parts? Big f-in deal. There's nothing wrong with a sedan installing coupe parts such as a coupe front end, OEM 19's, OEM Brembo's, coupe front seats, etc.
