So, this is my 2nd CB sedan. The first one was an automatic and I crashed it shortly after purchasing it (I was an immature 17 year old, now I am an immature 21 year old lulz). Being that I was driving a real POS, I learned to respect this one alot more, especially since my parents didn't help me pay for this one.

I was looking for an OB 6MT 05-06 sedan with Graphite interior, but I kept on getting shafted by the dealers when I was going to go look at them. I would tell them I'd be there in the morning to come take a look at it and if I liked it, I'd be able to pay for the car on the spot, but when I called in the morning to make sure it was still there, it wasn't. That happened about 10 times to me. I saw this one online for a few days and said "screw it, I'll go take a look at it.. it can't hurt to look, right?" LOL I left with my pockets feeling alot lighter and with a big smile on my face.

Enough with the small talk though, and onto my log:

I purchased the car on March 17th, 2011, this is how she looked:

I know from being active on many different VQ forums for years that bolt ons are pretty much pointless unless you're that bored with your G, so I started right away with my suspension.

I purchased a RareJDM Rear Strut Tower Bar from a local member (April 26th, 2011). My honest review of it is that it's "cool" if you have a show car or something, but that's it. It mounts to the sheet-metal behind the rear seats, meaning that after some hard driving the only thing that the RSTB is going to add is more noises to your car while driving. I do have some Dynamat that I am going to put over the sheet-metal so that it cuts down on the noises because I think it's cool to have something that not many others have..
Here is what it looks like installed in the trunk:

Soon there after (May 14th, 2011), I lowered the car on H&R G35 Coupe springs. I loved the drop when I first got it. It is the perfect mix between lowered and drivable IMO. But I plan to slam it on coils with some wheels when the spring rolls around. This drop is too uneven from front to back for my liking, I have a bit of wheel gap in the front but none in the rear even with an empty trunk and a 1/4 of a tank, so I know it's not due to extra weight. Here are a few shots I have of her right after I had a friend install the springs, note that they were not settled on the car at the time of the pics:

The same day I had the springs installed, I went and picked up a GTspec FSTB from a member who had gotten into an accident with his G35. I was going to install it myself but got scared when I saw I had to move the AC lines (even if it was half an inch) in the beginning of the summer. So I held onto that for a couple of weeks until I went to have my friend do some other things for me. (Not pictured, will add pictures when I get a chance.)

In the meantime I went ahead and purchased 2 sets of 20MM Ichiba V2 spacers (around June 15th, 2011). They make the rear wheels sit perfect for being stockers, fronts are still alittle bit too tucked for my liking but they were just a temporary fix so I wouldn't waste money on wheels yet. Here's a shot of the rear (sorry for my finger being in the picture, I didn't even realize until now):

I also added LED's to interior lights thanks to ONEighty (August 28th, 2011):

Now I am currently fixing problems with my suspension. Most of the bushings are very worn. I need new tie-rods and a few other pieces. Those should all be done before winter hits and then I'll be working on wheels and coilovers. I also have Fujitsubo midpipe sitting in my apartment that I am going to pair with a new Y-Pipe and a Magnaflow muffler.

Here are some random pictures I have of the car:

and my personal favorite:

Thanks for looking, all comments and opinions are welcomed..

Interesting comment on the RareJDM RSTB. I've only heard positive feedback from those who have it on their cars, coupe and Sedans, including people who take their car to the track.

I love CB Sedans! Looking forward to see what you do with it.

Maybe I'll remove it from the brackets and see if I feel a difference, maybe it would be better paired with some sways. I'll probably try that out over the weekend and I'll report back here. I still like it though, it looks cool and I personally don't know anyone else local with it.

^thanks, I remember when you had your first gen. congrats on the 6MT! I bet it's alot more fun to drive

also, I am thinking if doing a custom bumper like how Blain (4DGS) had done just to hold me over until I can afford a full Nismo poly kit. if anyone has any suggestions on how to improve that design, I am all ears.

ride looks great. You need some NISMO side skirts asap.
PM 19kdrill and see if he has any in CB. I got some Twilight Blue skirts from him and I love the way my car looks now.

Let me know if you decide to sell it....

...youre right, the bar is not too functional and should be sold to me
