Talking Gambit2083's Progression Thread...Whoo-hoo!

Hello Everyone,

I finally get to do one so here goes...

I had always dreamed of owning a G sedan ever since I first seen one at carmax back in 2005. I grew up in the south (A-Town ) and had been in the world of modding maxies for while. I first got my 2004 6mt G35 sport sedan in Feb. of 2010 for the out the door price $9,860.00. She had two accidents; one minor and one airbag deploment (both professionally repaired), Had two owners, (husband and wife) and 57K on it. She drove like a dream on the way home and I knew then...the wife was going to kill me. (Pics and videos were with my BB, please forgive!)

My '98 beast, ahhhhhhhh memories!

The New Beast!

Got the clear sides, fog's, LED's, and 8000K bulbs put in the following week!

My offical first day with plates on her LOL!

Three weeks in...FML! People can't park!

I lurked on the forums for a while then joined to figure out and do some research on my new toy...I had my brother ship me back my old school wheels, got them refinished and tossed them on the G.

Old School Hp Evos 18 x 8.5, 245/45/18, Meaty!

3m Headlight restoration kit...FTW!

Then she had to go low...OMG she had to get low! She rode good, but looked like a 4x4. Ordered some slotted and drilled for the nice look, and settled on some 350z sportlines, on stock sport struts LOL!

Now she was too quiet, so I became a ginny for a new hr pipe (M2) after spending a while looking for one. Also, ordered an HKS muffler and on they went! Complete with vids

CLICK ON VIDS TO PLAY

Winter showed up and she was stuck in the garage till about march time then I brought her out on a sunny day, spring settled over the winter a bit!

Spring time came around and I got my hands on a 350z middy with nismo extention...finally!!

Wheel bug started to bite, so I fitted some wheels that I got from my brother on....I did not like! I knew I needed to roll the rears to get the next set to fit. I wanted 5 spokes and after I couldn't find and missed out on some Nismo LM GT4, I settled on some Axis Milanos Staggered!

Kazera KZ-A 18 x 8.5 / 8.9 with 245/45/18 - 275/45/18

Rollin' and Axis Milanos 19 x 8.5 / 9.5 - General Exclaim UHP 245-35 / 275-30

Then came the hunt for the nismo kit, Thank you 19kdrill and Ionic, got em bought, shipped, and put on the car...unpainted lol! Right along with the plasti dipped grill.

Authentic Front, Sides, and Ionic Nismo Rear!

Got the paint done and 30% Tint all around...pure sex!

Satisfied, I went to Deals Gap. Repping the Mt. Fuji in the mountains!

On the way home, I had a run in with the stupid truck tire tread. Damage: Bumper cracked, Wheel scratched, Under shrould gone, Along with the driver wheel well and the side marker!

Painful, less that a week of fresh paint!

So with all that fun and winter right around the corner she will be in the garage waiting for the spring. What next? Well...wisconsin has long winters and I get bored easily. LOL! Here are some pics that I took in the back yard today.

Fall pics with the amber sides back on , Enjoy!

Hoped you enjoyed it, thanks for looking - Tori

Love your car. I have the same year, color, interior and drivetrain down to the options. lol. I also have plastidipped grille, clear corners and drilled and slotted rotors.

Our cars are pretty much twins. (Yours is the good looking one though. , and I used to have a modded A33 i30 pretty much a maxima. lol).
