Will's DP 6MT Sedan

I DD'd my E36 M3 for a year, but something about a car that would spit fire attracted a lot of unwanted attention... So I started searching for a new DD, and then stumbled across this 6MT sedan for cheap.

Bought it stock, decided that I was going to leave it alone, and then 2 days later... it started.

First day home

Z-tube installed - no pictures

Got OEM 18x8 Enkeis from a Maxima

Installed revised z-springs and plastidipped the wheels. At some point I blacked out the grill.

20mm spacers installed for +30 effective offset

Then I bought 18x8.5 forged Axis wheels that weigh in at 16lbs each. +25 effective offset.

Installed new rotors and Stoptech pads... guess I bedded them in kind of hard...

Motordyne plenum spacer installed. Front two air horns in intake mani ground down to replicate MREV2. No porting done at this time. No pictures.

Blizzak WS60 mounted on 17s and put back on the car. 17x7 +10 F and 17x8 +13 R. No rubbing

That's actually a airfield at Rantoul Air Force Base. Rented, insured, and all legal. We use that site for a lot of our autocrosses as well.

Yup, I lived in central Illinois for 4 years while I attended U of I. Now I'm working in the Chicago burbs.

Installed Hikkatadori bumper, had the sides and rear color matched. Also swapped back to my summer wheels.

Installed VLSD, still looking for a 3.7 VLSD.

Installed Cusco front swaybar.
Will be installing test pipes soon.

Meaty tires are meaty

Loaded down and no rubbing... and very very dirty.

Do you have any side profile pictures? I was thinking of doing the same with the HD front bumper and painting the stock sides to match the car.
