Weekfest Recognition
Awesome recognition on this this blog.....makes me feel good when people appreciate the effort and differences in builds...

My favorite G35 of Wekfest LA had to be this sedan from R-Rydes…. I liked it because it was a well-rounded build with all aspects covered, which is rare for this chassis. Most of the time you see guys lower them on wheels and a lip kit and call it a day. It’s refreshing to see one this thoroughly built…

Love Bride-themed interiors…

Even the baby seat in this G35 sedan has been re-upholstered… Only other thing that would make it perfect was if it had an all black interior…

Nice job under the hood too….This G had to be one of the best cars at Wekfest LA and hopefully he was awarded for his efforts….
....and I was...I got 3rd place best infiniti....

I will say this again...
I'm lovin' it!
Way to represent the West Coast Style! I don't think there are many sedans on the East or mid-west that can compete with the Cali sedans.
I have to agree with the black interior comment though.

I'm the EastCoast (virginia beach) and I know i won't even come close to that level of BUILDING may take me a few years, but JDM you've really come a LLOOOONNGG WAY in a SHORT period of TIME.
black interior would be so ill on white especially when those bride seats... can't wait to see it!

^ +1. I always bow down to the west... there is better networking, resources, and custom shops out there. There so much more competition which makes everyone go harder and more unique on builds....

I have a great idea to finish my interior, now I have to make sure I execute it flawlessly.
Thank you!
I definitely agree with you. We are very lucky to have resources available and lots of friends with connections. The competition is so tough though, you have to think outside the box and be willing and able to spend a lot to keep up. but at the end of the day the build is for me to enjoy, recognition/awards are a plus.

i know the expense is one thing for me to keep up with, but at least thats a possiblity. the resources on the other hand is out of reach over hear. can't find anyone to do fabrication from scratch or any place to do full custom polish under my hood.

i agree with you... i too build my G just for me and I'm continuously learning through threads like yours marcus', and marks progression threads... its molded what i want G to look and its pretty much a combination of all of the ELiTE sedans, but i just need to find resources on of my own and come up with the MONEY!!
Again your build is one of the most inspiring builds i look up too.... KEEP IT UP!

Best picture I've ever seen on here. I see that LED light out though

Freaking epic picture man, and congrats on the well deserved appreciation! Look forward to more progress things are looking great Chris
