hmmm, don't think i saw anything like that, but it's been like that and no issues...unfortunately i couldn't keep the y pipe on, looks like one of the test pipes was made wrong and angling everything upward, causing the y pipe to vibrate on the chassis...i had to email megan racing to see if they will replace the right test pipe to correct this problem...hopefully they get back to me soon, so i can finalize my exhaust
Hopefully they come through.
About half the exhaust relies on the Manifold studs/bolts, and that bracket. i have mine off right now too, a lot of guys run that way.
BUT I've heard of studs breaking, manifolds breaking, cracking, and so on, so just be-ware of the risks involved with running no mount
I'm going to do some fabbing and put brackets on my Test pipes so that I can still use it.
FYI: That bracket brand new from Nissan is only about $55, and that's here in canada, so u know it's cheaper down there. Aside from the fabbing necessary to mount for the pre-cat, it's cheap insurance, I think. Just info to pass along.

Man, your car is one of my all time favorite sedans. I've been watching it for awhile and finally got a '03 Sedan of my own. Hopefully it will turn out a 10% of how clean yours has! Keep it up.

i can't wait, just a little worried about destroying the bumper on a dip, bump or any unforeseen objects. i guess only time will tell
thank you very much, keep an eye out on craigslist and the forums, where you'll find many great deals on quality parts...i'm not ashamed to say i've gotten my parts for a fraction of what i should've paid, but patience is necessary in locating what you really want
thanks man, your skirts really added what i needed
spent a couple of hours adding some decals on my brother in law's freshly powdercoated akebono's...his 370z is ready to rock! Pearl white with white wheels, these things are gonna pop
