DTRUONG_112's G35 Sedan Build Thread (Updated 7/13/12)
Just picked up a 2003 KYO G35 sedan with 153k miles on it. Pretty much stock all it's life. Didn't even have tint on it. I traded my 2005 Scion tC in for it. Figured I would make a progress thread to highlight some features becuase I have some big plans in the works for it.
Here it is first day of ownership 6/18/12:
Blacked out the grill with plastidip 6/22/12:
Grill reinstalled and also polished my headlights because of the yellowing, no before pics:
Also picked up a set of G35 coupe 18s for a steal to replace the ugly 17s 6/24/12:
Installed Stance GR+ True Coilovers and got the windows tinted 7/6/12:
Completed my quad projector retrofit with the morimoto system 7/9/12:
Wheels are on and suspension has been somewhat finalized. -4 up front and -6 for the rears. 7/31/12:
Engine Bay Progression 6/18/12:
Added Polished Strut Bar 8/5/12:
Fujita Intake Installed 8/8/12:
RareJDM Harness cover, Nismo Oil Cap and Nismo Radiator Cap Installed 8/11/12:
Polished Plenum and Throttle Body 8/21/12:
And here are pictures of my tC before I traded it in:
I know I need to slam the G, I have Stance coilovers already ordered and I plan on doing a retrofit for the stock halogens this week. Also getting tint because the summer here in AZ gets a little hot. More updates this week.

The black sand pearl will be missed, I couldn't be picky with with G color choice because I got such a great deal on the trade.

Stance GR+ coilovers and projector retrofit. After, not sure if I want to do a set of wheels first or get the HD front with nismo sides and rear and HD trunk. Decisions, decisions.

Picked up some new goodies today 6/25/12
JDM clear corners:
Vaarstoen wheels in black chrome:
I will be installing the corners today. The specs on the wheels are 19x9.5 &10.5 +12 all around. I will have to pick up some Federal 595 for them. Thinking 205/40 and 215/40, thoughts on the tires? Should I go with a 35 series instead?

^Think so? I had 17x10 all around on my tC in the pics above and ran 205. I was thinking about doing 215 all around or even 225 for the rears. My buddies always told me I was crazy with my stretch.
