I've had "jdm" before. I've owned 2 different Sti's and some other cars too. I actually went from my Vw to an Audi to the G. I've always liked em & felt like going to something different.
Here's 2 different looks of my last Gti which would have been into PVW had I kept it.

Ehh, on the Mk5. Raderwerks are nice though and cool colour.

However, not world known as I haven't seen it and I'm somewhat active in the VW scene. Maybe Vortex famous...

However, G looks ok. You have room to go wide on it though so don't get stuck in the VW set ups. 19x11 is your friend.

Your car here is 1 of my inspirations! But yeah I just hated the oem coupe 19s so I sold those & had a killer deal on these wheels so figured why not for now to have something.. The cars sitting a little better now without as much gap. Next up is air though then I'll be able to pull off some built 18s that I can snag whenever I sell these wheels. Just can't pull em off unless on air cause I refuse to run coils around here the runs aren't low friendly at all.

& you're right I should have said Vortex & mk5 forum well known would have been better known if I kept it but I get bored too easily haha. But I do know how to build some great cars so as the money comes in this thing will get more n more.

First time I've ever heard someone say "hated" towards OEM Coupe 19"'s. Those wheels are timeless and stunning.

Good to hear man, plans for air set up?

And Matt, I'm personally not a fan of OEM 19s either lol

i dislike them too. i think theyre ugly. to be quite honest i think the folks that love them actually love the fact that theyre rays and forged. the design isnt all that

lol guess I'm not the only 1... as for Air not sure yet. Might just do Bag over coil since I can get great pricing on the parts for that. If the budgets there then I'll go with a more direct bolt on set up.

yall muhfugs craz.

Though I'll say that I wouldn't PUT them on a G35/350Z. On these cars there are much nicer wheels.
But say, a Maxima, 240sx, etc. All in all they're a sick rim, just the design makes them look smaller than 19" on this car, which is unwanted, especiallyf or most who want at least 20"\s

If you're open for suggestions....

Accurair e level, UAS aerosports up front SS-5s in the back on 350z shocks and struts. Then save up for some cheap coilovers to swap out the OEM struts for.

Best set up possible IMO. I hate bolt on set ups like airrunner/ksport (not to group airunner and Ksport together as they are different ends of the quality spectrum as well)

Agreed... aside from the 240 part as 19s looks like 22s on an S body. And 20s on a G look donkalicious.

However I agree with saywhat, they've become the poor mans Volk, everyone loves saying they have rays so it throws out the fact that the actual design of the wheel is mediocre. However, I did just pick up a set for my brothers Altima...

The hell you say!! LOL

OP, your G is not my thing but kudos for being different. I actually like the VW and not just because of the colour.
