car looks great! Just wondering how you did the two colors in the dome light? I have an 05 coupe and would like to do blue when I open the doors and then white when i press it. Did you find a DIY or are you good enough with electronics to figure it out?

Thank you!

I am actually an electrical engineering student so I was able to figure it out

I havent found a DIY but one might be out there, I could also do it for other people.

No problem. Do you think you'd want to write up a DIY for it? I feel like a good amount of people on here would get use of it. Unless it's super involved. I've been trying to find a DIY for this on any car to see if i can use that on my G.

I want to keep that one to myself for now, but anybody with experience and troubleshooting ability should be able to do it.

Yesterday I redid the trunk lighting.

Previous: long VLEDs strip:

Now: Voltage regulated universal PCBs 100% designed by me. 2 red and 1 white.

Yes, this was taken in the exact same lighting conditions as the previous picture.

Can I get opinions on the red+white going on in the trunk? I guess we can pretend its a canadian flag haha. What I was going for was good, usable light, while maintaining the red accent. I dont really like the way it turned out tbh but at least I can see now. I dont know if Ill bother changing it again. If anything I may just replace the white PCB with another red PCB. I still wont be able to discern colors if I do that, but at least it will be bright enough to see everything, unlike before.

Oh, I am also planning to install everything soon. Will also be getting rid of my grounding kit and doing the following:

2 sets of 0 gauge wire between battery (-) and chassis
0 gauge wire between battery (+) and alternator
0 gauge wire between chassis and engine
8 gauge wire to ECU and TCU
8 gauge wire to transmission

Wow nice work dude that's crazy bright. The issue is the same one I hit, can't mount it on the top or you get no light in all directions. Trunk design.

I'll be putting lights around the taillights pointing back in. then maybe a couple at the sides toward the seat for a more 360 degree setup. Hopefully.

Not high on the list for me lmfao. I like the setup idea though and looks so wicked out of the car either way bro looks good still

That sounds like it may work. Yeah, it is hard to get awesome illumination in this trunk. The stock bulb is so pitiful too.

But YOU are obligated to make colour shifting trunk lights, you dont have an option any more :P

Got something today
Guesses?

ART pipes

no pictures because Im way too tired, but yeah. Picture ART pipes, and picture them in my hands. You may have to imagine what I look like if you dont know me personally. I am not fat.

My trunk lights are growing on me too. I still think it might be a good idea to replace the white cluster with another red cluster though.

They should resize automatically once they fully load - what browser are you using?
