The least they could have done was aimed better and not hit the door while breaking the window...

And this is why I have several VERY obvious video cameras in front of the house and two chihuahuas that bark if someone two blocks away sneezes. Heaven help the person I catch touching my baby. I totally feel for you man, I would be just sick to see that damage.

Sucks, hope you insurance will cover it. But on another note, is that a breathalyzer in there?

Yeah I'm working with the insurance company right now to see what they can do. And yes, unfortunately it is.

That sucks! A few weeks ago around 5-6 cars got broken into in my neighborhood, fortunately they stayed away from my G and moms Camaro. Hope insurance will help you out

I really dislike seeing threads like this! But they're the best argument for aftermarket alarms and finding a place to live that has a locked garage. With a good alarm they might have broken the window but that would have been all the damage! If you have a good insurance company they'll cover the loss and damage, hopefully you have full coverage....Gary

Yeah I'm kicking myself because I've been meaning to buy a good alarm for the car. I do have full coverage but apparently they don't cover aftermarket stereos...news to me. Guess we'll see what happens.

I am truly sorry to hear and see this man. I have always thought that the little red light blinking in the dash of the car was enough deterrent for thieves but this is like the tenth case I've seen our double dins being torn out. Between this and G37 rims a proper security system is top priority in the Mod list.

Got the window fixed today. My insurance screwed me over a bit so I'm probably going to hold off on fixing the dent for now. A couple of the wiring harnesses were broken on the yank out so that's next on the to do list. Before I replace the head unit I'll be buying and installing the Viper 5904. Hopefully that will save me from having to deal with this again.
