My last post was intended to advise the op from experience. A buddy of mine dipped his grille for just a few short months. To fully take it off we had to sand it down and repaint correctly.

Telling the op that dip on his car for years may be a problem down the road is just a kind gesture. In ops case I hope he's able to fully remove it come that day.

Jesus.

Thanks bro. Hopefully i'll be a lucky one where its not. It has 9 coats of dip so it should peel off fairly well.

It doesn't say how hard the dip as to remove but he was A MORON for using a pressure washer. And a moron for HOW he used it.

^^^^^^^^ That powerwasher infiniti is one of the WORST examples of dip...Look I am one of the FEW who dip a TON on here... Most know my build. I dip purely because I dont know what the exterior color should be... I have said it MORE THAN ONCE that matte finish's look bad on the coupe. The matte finish looks great on a Lambo or a Ferrari... But not a rounded car... If you were to have added a gallon of gloss on top, or mixed the last gallon of flex with gloss it would have given it a satin finish... Out cars need some form of gloss on it... My current color is coco brown with a gold pearl over the top. Next is most likely balloon white with a gold ice gloss pearl on top... I am actually pretty excited for the white.....
