Thanks a lot bro and I'm flattered that you compare my work to David's work!! I only wish lol!!

Anyways there are no updates today because I didn't go
To work today... I was seeing my orthopedist to see the results of
The MRI I had done a week ago... Anyways, been doing some thinking on what black to use on the car and I think I'm going pearl black...
What do you guys think?

Ralphy323 12-01-2014 07:41 PM

Thank you guys with for all the great comments!! Hopefully tomorrow I'll finish welding everything and and put the re bar in the back and all
The sensor in the back so I can get rid of the dreadful cel light.

As usual I'll Keep
You guys posted.

All right I worked all day prepping, welding and making everything look good, mounted the bases for the rebar and also the bar, fixed the rust on my new fender and welded a patch plus I worked in a little side project, was giving my boss a hand with a nissan Altima that the guy he asked to do the job made a mess and well I had to fix it.

Here are the Picts.

Finished welding...

Traction control off!!

Attachment 185409

Attachment 185410

Rust neutralizer for the affected fender area.

Attachment 185411

Attachment 185412

And... More welding -.-"

Attachment 185413

Attachment 185414

And semi finished product... Now have to grind off the welds and make it look pretty.

Attachment 185415

I filled the rust holes with welding because that's what I like to do, it gives the surface strength and it's a much more better job than just putting a whole lot of bondo... Now it only requires a little bit and is very firm.

In between the fender and the patch I used the rust neutralizer to stop any more rust from developing in that area so we won't have that issue again.

And...More traction control off!!

And here's the side project... I did square everything off but didn't take any pictures, tomorrow I'll upload them.

Ok it's time for another update... Been away for a few days taking care of some family drama but I'm back. And on to the Picts.

Started making all the welds nice and covering them up.

After that a nice coat of undercoating and...

Attachment 185330

Attachment 185331

IMO it looks pretty good..

After that's I put the re bar, foam inserts and put the bumper for the last time, it's really just staying there now.

Attachment 185333

Attachment 185334

Couldn't resist!! Had to turn the lights on!!

Attachment 185335

Attachment 185336

And now for another update that was not originally included in my build/rebuild sheet... The camber links in the back where bent so I had to buy new ones and I thought if im buying new ones why not make them adjustable??? I bought a complete set of cheap emusa camber links it costed 165 for the front and back. I'm not expecting a lot out of them but hopefully they'll hold and the look very sturdy so let's see.

Attachment 185337

Attachment 185338

Packaging was pretty decent so no complaints there.

Installation of the back went without a problem. Kinda surprised lol!!

So I only did one corner which was the one that was really bent out of shape, I'm buying on some eibach pro kit springs from a friend for cheap and well once I get them I'll do the other 3 corners but for the meantime it's driveable again.

Now I need you opinion guys. I've set my sights on these rims.. What do you guys think??

Xxr 526 19x9 front and 19x10 back

Attachment 185349

I'm still thinking about it and maybe going up to 20's but don't know please shed some light I really need to make a decision on this pretry quick!

And I originally wanted the g37s 19" oem wheels but around me they are asking 1500+ for them and since this is a cheap build well Xxr wheels are 780 shipped.

saywat? 12-08-2014 02:24 PM

u will have to go 20s in that design to look good and a pretty low drop

Yeah, I think jerseytaylor has the rays for sale for a good price on here. Can't really go wrong with those.
