Oooh I agree, the trunk just doesn't flow on a sedan AT ALL. A friend on mine here (mt7rabbit) has a Mastergrade trunk on his coupe (shaped the same) and it's the sex. To me the sedan is too long to pull off this trunk.

Now the trunk with the lip whether it's Strafe's or HikkataDori's would look 10X better. I do see that even this trunk doesn't line up correctly with the taillights. My number 1 pet peeve with all of these aftermarket trunks and the reason I don't sport one.

Patiently waits for the hordes to come in screaming "our trunks do line up, they just need to be adjusted" I've seen a lot of these in pics and 2 in person and none have. I challenge anyone to prove me wrong and post up pics that show perfect fitment.

Tim's is the best fitting aftermarket trunk I recall seeing, he worked on it a bit to get it right. Chris' fitment is spot on but his isn't an aftermarket version, its his OEM trunk modified IIRC.

Thanks Marcus, that's the best fit I've seen so far. Tim's is a HD correct?

It still is tight on drivers side. I agree with Blue Dream, the fitment also keeps me from getting one.

Yes it is, I was being nice. It's close but not OEM-like.

Glad I'm not the only one that feels this way.

If you look at some of the oem fitment i.e. ashleys(hope i spelled that right) its off too. I threw gabes hd trunk on early in the mornin hung over so it may be off a little. I got it almost perfect. I wont get into a arguement with you Tim, but i will just say it can be done and i got a few tricks now to make it happen.

I have heard of this mystical spot-on fitment but I have yet to see one. I'm sure it can be done, from what I've heard you're really good with this kind of stuff. BUT, I have yet to see one that fits like it should and I've seen numerous cars in person and in photographs. It must be a b!tch to get right. And yes, Gabe's is off as well, don't hangovers suck.

They do suck. lol I will say the hd trunk will never be 100 percent if it was like the one i had. On the bottom right corner the mold is off and it sticks out. From the rear view it will be good fitment but from the passenger side its not flush with the taillight or bumper. With the hd trunk you pretty much make your own gaps. the decklid is oversized and you just sand down the edges to make your gaps.
