Well if nobody notice, I got clear corners finally. But saving up for the Nismo kit. I got enough for the front but I want to buy it as a whole.

My buddy who is a wheel whore is trying to get me to get some different wheels. He likes mine but like I said he is a wheel whore.(he is on his 12th set for his Z) LOL. A rock hit my wheel and chipped the chrome on the lip, so I either going to get a new one or repaired which ever is cheaper.

I am also still waiting for those coilovers that company I am working with.

Not sure whatelse is in store. I do want to get a beater and us it as my daily driver.

Ah, sorry, I didn't catch the clear corners :o

Nismo is always a good thing IMO.

I almost got a daily driver (240Z) but decided to wait it out till sometime in 08 to get one.

Coming along nicely Lumpia

I don't think I've posted up any "good" full pics of my G since I got my OEM 18's powdered.

Just snapped a few today after I got it all washed up. Winter setup (cause when it rains, my mesh style wheels are a pain to clean).

Thanks Chris. Thanks Mike

Mike, I need to get my fenders rolled so I can slap on my iForged for JDM Theory. I'll be coming out your way in a week or two to get it done. I'll PM you to see if you are around.

Turbo Drifter 12-22-2007 05:02 PM

Wanted to post some pictures of my sedan, I have had it for just over a month.

So far I have installed Tein S tech springs from a Coupe (need coilovers not happy with the springs), Z tube and K&N Drop in.

The Wheels were test fit 350Z track pack wheels.

Looks good, but looks like the rear wheels must rub.

bert039 12-23-2007 02:01 PM

Chris - Looks good! Have you considered body matching the rubber strip under the doors? The coupes have them painted, I'm just not sure why it wasn't ever done on the sedan.

Yep, its on the list. I'm going to have the door moldings removed, door handles body matched and those rubber strips painted as well. I've already talked to my paint guy and he said it shouldn't be a problem. Sometime in the spring.

do it! i had that done at International Autobody (door moldings and mirror brackets, as well as moded rear diffuser to the rear bumper) - the result is subtle but very nice looking.

yeah, I think it will really clean it up. Especially removing the door moldings. I just wish our was like the coupes...no holes behind the moldings  Oh well, I need some other paint work/repairs anyways.

Thanks Igor. You coming out to JDM Theory?

I showed at JDM Theory here in California this past Sunday and dropped the G down a bit more all the way around for it (Tein CS coilovers). Took some after shots of the drop with my sunny day rims on. I'm going to raise it back up a bit and put my stockers back on this weekend.

I've been debating on getting that spoiler. I can't decide! I think my rear looks clean without it (debadged with just the Mt. Fuji emblem), but everytime I see pics of it it calls to me. How much was it to have it painted?

G35Papa 01-18-2008 01:21 AM

I know you're waiting on the coilovers to be made for the x Lumpia but it will be well worth the wait. I've probably changed my drop at least 4 times since I got them put on. I've always liked my cars raked :)

Candlestick - I paid like $60 to have it painted if I remember correctly. You're G is very clean. I like the debage. I've been on the hunt for a replacement trunk lid to get rid of the doggy door. I will also debage but also remove the Mt. Fuji as well. With or without, your G will look good.

What is the offset on your rear wheels and did you have to roll your fenders?

Sacch 02-09-2008 11:50 PM

it's a rubber seal (weather strip)

I dont know if this was directed towards me or not....the offset is +45 on a 9.5" width. I don't have the rear fendors rolled but before I dropped it more (I now have more negative camber dialed in....I never raised it back up ;) ) I would rub a little with people in the back. This was after I put in my camber kits and had it alligned.

As for the chrome strip under the doors...no way. Not for me. I think it would look very out of place. Plus, OCG35 is right...its rubber, you can't chrome it.

I have more mods coming within the next few weeks...getting ready to show at HIN out here in cali. I'll post up more pics after the show.

Sacch 02-10-2008 12:07 AM

I was thinking about a Lexus GS look... But you guys are right you cant chrome that part.

this is my V35-300GT imported from Japan. I am looking for a new aero parts, besides, I am living in China. So, can anyone suggest me where I can find the aero parts shop that they can deliver the parts to China? Thanks!

lexusk8 02-13-2008 01:19 PM

hkuwhlc, that's a nice G you got there. Just curious, how much did it cost to import to China? Was it a lot of trouble to get it shipped over? Where in China are you at? I have family in Hong Kong and Shanghai, and when I visited Shanghai last year I did not see a single G35 coupe or sedan. Guess it's not as popular as the Nissan Teana.
