I think this car is screaming for a nice front & rear BBK, to go with those big 19" & 20" aftermarket wheels.

Very nice. I considered those wheels - turns out they look really good.

thanks, not many choices for tires though. I also had to remove the TPMS because the would stick straight up and the stems on these are at a 90 degree angle.

h2mann- how do they line up with the fenderwells in the rear? Are they flush or are the tires inside/outside the line of the fenderwell?

Looking good!!

thought about lowering it, but its a lease and I didnt want to do too much stuff that I would have to undo later. Also, some of the roads I travel on daily are in pretty bad shape so I have to consider that as well. Most likely be using the stock wheels for daily driving.

Thought I would post specs on my wheels on my 07X on this sticky, I have lots of pics here: More Pics in this thread of my Wheels

My wheels are PIAA Sport Mesh
Wheel size is 8.5" x 18"
Offset is 42 mm
Tire size in pic is 255/40/18 (eventually I will be running 245/45/18 front and rear)

For the following measurement I placed a straight edge on the tires and measured the distance with the car on flat ground.
Front = tucked in 7 mm from outside of fender.
Rear = tucked in 5 1/2 mm from outside of fender.

New Rims! 19" MRR HR-2 on G35 sport

Got my new rims today. MRR silver HR-2 19 x 9.5 +45 offset rear and 19 x 8.5 +45 offset front. Tires are Falken 452 275/35R19 and 245/40R19. Fronts are polished and edes are painted silver with clear coat. No rubbing issues on the inside, plenty of room. Ride is not too stiff. I wanted a simple clean look. These rims are easy to clean and wax! $1800 at victoria tire shipped and mounted.

Awesome pics robswid! Those wheels match the car very well. Not a very common design either. They look bigger than 19's due to the big 5 spoke design.

Great job!
