Black Obsidian Pics

Thanks for all the props, but I sadly can't take credit for these pictures. I was simply driving my new baby. They were taken by my one of my close buddies out the back window of my 4Runner. His name is Richard Thompson and has been taking pictures of exotic cars for some time now. His photoshop skills are some of the best I have ever seen. If anyone would want prints or anything let me know. He is getting close to launching his new website that will have the ability to purchase prints and if there is any interest I'll get him to put some up. We are going to head out again sometime this week to get some different types of rigs to see if we can't get any more interesting shots. I also showed him a car rig that isn't too badly priced and he said he is thinking about getting it. That will really take his photos to the next level. Exciting stuff!
Hikos_G,
Thanks for the props, they turned out quite well! They were shot with a 20D with L glass. Hopefully he will still be in Savannah when he gets his MarkIII and they start shipping. The image quality from that thing is quite amazing and I look forward to seeing what Canon has in store for us. I hear a 22mp is not too far off!

My buddy just left on a 1.5 week business trip... lucky son of a gun gets to chase .5mil cars through the desert in a helicopter taking video and pictures. They are starting in Cali, going to Mexico and ending up in New Orleans for the first weekend of jazz fest. I'm meeting up with him for jazz fest, should be a good time! Can't wait to hear about the rest of it/see pictures...
