WOW...that looks tremendous Shane! What a shine and great gloss

All the Zaino layering topped by Optimum wax worked ok for you? (well obviously it did...what I meant was it challenging at any point?)

Also interesting - I never noticed the 'two tone' (garnet/black) of the side mirrors before this picture. Very cool look.

(And just how tall are you??? That head rest looks like it's set for a seven footer! )

Yeah, the Optimum Car Wax worked very well over the coat of Z5 and Z2. It definitely added a great looking "pop" to the GE. It's possible that I should of waited for the Zaino to cure for a day or two before applying the Optimum Car Wax, but I was a little on the anxious side.

And about the headrest, I am only 5'8" but the headrest is set perfectly to lay my head back while driving.......very comfortable.

Btw, thanks for the rest of the compliments. It seemed like a rather long day detailing, however it was very gratifying in the end. The PC sure is a wonderful tool.

Holy $hit, that's a lot of detailing!

Car came out awesome Shane!

The weather was beautiful down here too, but I had only 2 hours to work on the car as I had to spend the rest of the day blowing leaves and doing some spring cleaning on the yard

Thanks Daniel. It was a long day on Saturday, but definitely well worth it. My legs are extremely sore today.

Shane - Stunning work on that detail. Detailing is one of the most rewarding, stress relieving, and relaxing things I enjoy doing. Nothing is better than transforming your vehicle into a work of art only to realize you have to wipe the drool off your paint after a job well done. Congrats on taking the time to perform such a great detail as well as documenting your procedures on the splash guards and detailing process.

A+

George

Thanks George, considering you are a professional, your comments mean alot. I am learning more and more all the time regarding detailing, and owe a big thanks to Kevin as I have learned a ton from him. Detailing is a very rewarding experience and is definitely a great form of mental therapy for me!
