Once we had spent all the time and money (mostly theirs) they didnt want to let it go. Plus, I was in college with no where to keep it. So it stays at their house and rarely gets driven. I might go get it out for a little while today though- It is actually a 64 1/2 by serial number. Its dirty in that pic, looks better all cleaned up!

So, driving it was always an adventure. So, about 2 years ago we had the guy who builds my brothers racecar motors (dirt late models) build a 289 for it and linked it to a 5sp auto tranny. In doing so, we had to upgrade various other things like the suspension, motor mounts, driveshaft, switched to the 289 2+2 wheels, exhaust etc etc. SOOO- to answer your question, its got a non-stock (very powerful) 289 dropped in it. The last outstanding issue is it idles tooo strong and its hard to keep stopped even with the upgraded brakes. I usually drop it into low gear when coming to stop lights or putting her back into the garage... reverse is fun! when its in reverse, its moving... you cannot stop it- shift back to neutral and brake! haha

Sweet, that's awesome Sean!
