I opted to go with 8.5 all around instead of 10" rears and I'm definitely glad I did. Compared to MarcelKatz's and G35in305's rides, I think mine just looks so much better. Your offsets are just completely off. Marcel, did you ever fix your fitment issues. If you did, I'm sure all of us would love to see some pictures.

The tires are quite dusty in these pictures, but you get the general idea.

Great looking ride man, very refined, there's no doubt that the thinner tires "fit" better...but that wasn't the biggest consideration when I was deciding the size of tires to buy.

Besides the "refinement" factor in a car's appearance, there are other factors, like aggressiveness, for example. And honestly, the thick tires just look a lot better from the back...I'd definitely like to tuck them in a little, or even better, roll out the fenders and make them cover the wheel..ah what i would do if i had the money..

I just like the look, feel, and "message" of thicker tires.

The ones i posed are black chromed. The dealer had it done specifically for a demo/show car. wish i had taken it when they offered it to me for $800. they are asking for $1400 for them now.

asuh, the fitment looks perfect.

I hate seeing nice sedans with way too aggressive offsets in the rear.

In Houston your looking at minimum $1,400 at a chrome shop and over two weeks to get the work done.

I like it, but will be better to find a set of black rims I like and buy them and keep the OEM rims as back ups.

I'm the other way around; I hate when people get wheels with stock looking offsets as it makes the car look puny!

You can go with a 10" wheel in the rear but you have to stay clear of some brands 10" wheels because the offset they offer just don't work on the 2nd gen. 10" Sevas don't work on the 2nd Gen. The +40 offset is right at the fender line on the 1st gens and with a little extra negative camber we have been able to angle them in enough to just get by. Seeing them on the 2nd gen though they appear to stick out past the fender line so it would take even more negative camber to bring them in and I think that would be too much negative camber to get enough miles out of the tires to justify the 10" wheel.
My point is you guys can get wide tires in the rear it's hott but if you want a 10" rim get something in a higher offset.
