Post pics of your Tint!!

Like the title says, post pics of your tint. Im planning on getting mine done on Monday and I dont know how dark and what kind of tint to go with. Post how dark your tint is and what brand tint if you know.

Also, people with 20% or darker, do you guys get hassled by the cops about it? I live in Mississippi so i dont see getting harrased too much here about my tint but just wondering. Im probably going to go with 20% all around but we'll see. Thanks.

Hey I just got my tints done at 35% today in NYC! I got resin, which the tinter said was 1 step under ceramic. From what I understand (which is not very much), you can go Ceramic -> Resin -> Metallic -> and then regular dye tints. Ceramic being the best quality. But I also heard metallic is awesome. Some big names I read around here were Huber Optic, Pinnacle, Solargard, and 3M. Basically, you get what you pay for. So just read around. Good luck! My G looks SOmuch better with the tints.

If you go 20% be careful if you order the reflective type - you won't see much of anything at night except yourself in the mirror, since the insides of most cars areighter (rom the instrument panel lights, etc.) than the outside.

^ don't get me wrong, that's a HOT look, but I think those pics make the 35% look darker then they really are

It's actually 30% and at some angles it looks even darker than that, however, from a direct-on angle it does look lighter. Regardless, 35% is the max legal we're allowed to have on our front windows, but my local place only had 30% in the brand/color I wanted so they put it on.

yeah i agree, i just got my windows tinted yesterday with 20%. I was about to get the 35% after seeing some of the cars on this forum, but fortunately I saw a car getting 35% before my car and it seemed too light in person. ]

I have a black on black car just fyi.

For those of you in NOVA, have you had any problems with the LEO's using 35% on the fronts? What's the best tint place in the NOVA area? LA Tint was horrible on my last vehicle. I had to take it back 4 times and it still wasn't right. Years ago, I went to California Tint and they did an awesome job, but it's been a long time.

16% solargard all around. all of my past cars i had 5% all around and it was a pain to see at night, so i went a little lighter. i think its a good medium between legal and super dark. even with 5% i was never bothered by cops, but dark tint is pretty typical in Miami. ill post pics when i can get my hands on a camera.

i have the 5% "limo tint" all around.... here in los angeles.. i can say cops can be pretty harsh on you.. but i guess when u're a girl, you have a better chance of talking out of a ticket.. haha

i had the same thing on my previous car.. never got a ticket.. *knock on wood* but anyhooo... i think my car looks a lot sexier with the tint =)

don't have any pics of it yet.. but will be posted soon!

35% Llumar all around. It looks a bit darker in person. I'd actually prefer it to look more like the photo, not as dark.
