No rubbing at all, the spacers are just for asthetics. They give it a better stance on the road. I'm still deciding if I can keep the wheels, I jumped the the gun knowing I need to replace them in the winter and the wife says I can only have one set of wheels

Oh trust me they'll be gone off your hands quick when u decide to sell. How do the spacers give better stance, do the tires stick out a bit more and seem wider?? What's the biggest size spacer one can use on an 05 X? What impact do spacers have on ride, large or small?? Sorry about all the questions, newbie over here.

^^ The spacers push out the wheels 10MM (roughly 3/8 inch). It moved the outside of the wheels flush with the side of the car....

Before...

After...

The ride feels identical to me. I can't imagine 10MM affects the handling much if an any. I haven't a clue what spacers you can and can't use, but 10MM isn't much to start with.

Why, are you interested if I decide to sell them?

Those look awesome even without the spacers. The stock 17s on the X are even more sunk in then your sport rims without the spacers.
I wouldn't even bother with spacing it out.

Hell yeah I'm interested. Just leave me some tread on the tires lol. I'm staying with my stock 17s untill I find a pair of those M45 19s in chrome.

does anyone know if you must run spacers with these wheels on our cars? they are 19 x 8.5 +50mm all the way around. im pretty sure the rears will be fine but what about the fronts without spacers?

Yup, works fine. If you look on page 2 of this thread, there are pictures of my car with spacers and without spacers in a couple different posts. I tried first without, decided they were pushed in too far, then I put on the 10MM spacers.
