IvoryPearl07G - I generally don't like black rims, but your car looks stunning w/ the perfect drop and contrasting white and black. Great job!

Gdup35sedan - I admit I was one of the naysayers re: marcelkatz's set up. But, in reading through your many highly informative posts, didn't you also indicate that 20x10 +40 w/ 275-30-20s would rub if the camber was corrected? I seem to recall you stating this set up would not rub only with a fair amt of negative camber.

If you have a camber kit and you want to run -1.0 camber... its not gonna happen. But you can fit this setup in there with -1.5 camber in the rear. I ran it for 4 months. So obviously when you lower your car, you're going to get negative camber if you dont adjust the alignment. If you lower the car and dont adjust the alignment (Camber) you will be anywhere from -1.5 to -2.2 camber in the rear, thus allowing the tire to fit nice and snug.

I think the car looks sweet with these wheels. The lowering helps pull off the aggressive white / black color scheme.

yea it was a typo. 275/30 in the rear. lowering the car and having the slight camber fits them. But as I watched them in my side mirror while hitting bumps and stuff, as it compresses, it just folds up and in with plenty of room to spare. I went to nopi atl this weekend, and with about 600lbs of luggage/people, it was fine. also had 4 dudes in it, 2 big and 2 medium sized, again around 600lbs....no problems. they turned out so good.

i think with a bigger size tire it will rub.

anyone know if a 5mm spacer would require different studs?
and does anyone know of a program that can resize pics and keep the picture quality unscathed?

yes it will. Most 5mm like Eibach come with the longer studs.

Never got an answer to the question? Also pm me the price you paid. I'm looking for a similar setup.

THANKS!

IvoryPearl07G,

Are the lips on your wheels chrome, machined or polished?
