I always wonder why some Infiniti parts departments confuse the Chrysler 300 Accessories with the G35s

HAHAHAHA, that is exactly the car that came to my mind when I read the post. Then the new Malibu, chrome pillars with chrome fender trims to match. Yuck! But to each his own.

i think with our cars with tinted windows looks sweet with just the chrome around the outside. ive thought about them but decided not to as they remided me of 300c's or an altima.

UltimateGee I actually tried them. I found some cheap ones. To start...I HATE chrome pillars. But I thought it might be somethign worth trying because of all the chrome around the windows already, I thought it would match. After having it...it matches...but is just way too much. The chrome on the pillars is not only too much, but it just ruins the lines on the car. Tint with the black pillars makes a very smooth look. With the chrome pillars it just threw off the look of the whole car. Here's a pic from before I dropped it(sorry for the size...can't resize right now). My vote would be a huge no...especially because your car is so damn sweet as it is.

Exactly. I've never understood why people would add anything to highlight the vertical aspect of their cars, whether on the pillars or the type of door trim that everybody put all over their cars in high school. It doesn't make any sense to me when people think it "improves" the appearance of their cars.

Don't do it bro, & if you must then wait & see if you can get carbon fiber pillars which in another hand would look very nice on your car.

I'd be interested in a film for the chrome trim around the doors - sort of like a BMW shadowline trim type thing.

Anybody know of any pics of this?
