well it's not actually the bulb that's yellow. It's the lens itslef that's Amber. No need to change any bulbs! That's the only diffrence. Or that's what they have in japan, and they want the U.S. Version there. LOL

Wheels look great. They would look even better with some spacers to bring them out a bit.

Nice! Looks like some 10mm spacers would make them look even better though!

Holy thread revival batman!! 808Mikes car is definitely worth the revival!

Seems like there's still some interest in the JDM tails. I have a set that I took off my "2nd GF" thats been up for sale ( check out the marketplace under the 07-up Sedan parts for details and pics).

Hey San-Man, just waiting on a deal to go through but if you're interested, PM me. We'll talk kamaaina rates since no need ship!

Excuse the OT question ...

Why did you pull off your JDM tails?

BTW ... does anyone know if they are legal in CA or should I look forward to getting a fix it ticket?

The GF is gone. Left her for another woman.

I don't see why they would be illegal. Some cars have amber signals, some don't. Besides, amber is much more visible, and therefore safer, so why should the cops care? They probably wouldn't even notice the difference...

that's not very nice. =( if ur car ever gets stolen who are you gonna call for help ? at least in jersey us pigs try to help...

AND as far as them being legal, 100% totally legal. NO police officer should ever give you a hard time for these and if they do tell them to educate them selves on DOT approved material and fight it in court. there are a million articles supporting this even on police manuals as long as they are red or amber and visible up to ??? feet you are good to go. i want the JDM's bad but i am broooke. I'm praying for some roadside construction so i can make some over time by sitting on the side of the road. hehe.

I really dont think anyone would notice that they are not supposed to be amber, tons of cars out there with yellow turn signals. Like Hikos said, much safer with the amber than with the stock, you can see it much better. Never got questioned by police ever on mine, drive through Waikiki every night.
Sorry to see your GF go Glen, she was nice
