Sorry is some people dont agree with what i was doing.. i just didnt think it was a big deal.. apparently i wasnt the only one, so i dont think chastizing me to the extreme would be fair.. he took a good 20 votes away from me, and thats ok.. As stated above. We are all winners, no matter the results
FWIW: as i told Garnet Canuck in my PM. I love my car, i think it is one of the nicest. However, i do not think it is THE nicest. im just being real, ya kno?

I was thinking... And i dont want you to think that im turning this into more then it really is, but maybe we should expand the voting to some of our other forum members.. I talk to several of the members from the 03-06 forums, and they like the idea of this... And for other reasons, its almost like an "outside looking in" opinion, which i think is good for our hobby..
maybe we can post the link for the threads in another forum, just for ****s and giggles so our other members can make their decisions on . seems like most of the votes are relegated to our normal 07+ members.. just a thought?

Also, there will be a contest for the first 1st gen Sedan and Coupe coming as well so we'll have a chance to vote on their rides. I am thinking of having a Driver's hottest G contest where the winners of each of the 3 contests will face off against each other. It's just a thought though.

I wanna do this every quarter and have a members car of the quarter. This would be a result from the head to heads in the overall forum. is this doable Garnet? display the vehicle and a brief summary on the home page of g35driver. it would be cool stuff.
the main reason is, i am a month away from my overall rejuvenation of the exterior of my car. it should look much different with a more sport/aggressive tone to it.

Garnet - I know this has been talked about and talked about...but any chance that maybe this could turn into the cars that are shown on the homepage of Driver? Especially if we do it quarterly, it would be a nice prize for those 3(or however many based on what versions of the cars wind up doing this poll) to have their car displayed for 3 months on the main page.
I know it has been heavily requested, just not sure what the holdup is on getting those pics changed. This would be a great reason to do it though and would create such a hot welcome to our site.

yea, my suggestion comes from a few other forums i was member to before i picked up the G. It really worked out great. One of the sites was simply a location only(TN) based site. So the numerous makes/models had to compete together. It was nice seeing an awesome ride placed on the home page with no bias. All member based voting.
To seperate it into 3 categories(03-06 sedan, 03-07coupe, 07+ sedan) would work nicely tho. Parts/aftermaket really limit all the categories on this site.
