warning, personal opinion ahead: remove the S badge, it doesn't add 50 extra HP or anything. also your camera phone pictures look just as nice or nicer than your Sony T7's pictures :P

i almost got the S60R, which do you like better and why?

S badge coming off today...the last of my fishing wire broke in-process.

Comparing the R and the G - really no comparison. I was in LOVE with the R, the leather and interior were amazing, the most comfortable seats I've EVER Been in - period. Second now to the SRT8.

The get up and go at speed was great too, low end torque was non-existent. I had the BSR PPC tune on it with a CAI - so around 350hp. The active chassis was fun, but a mess, and with any upsize tire - on anything but the smoothest roads you get suspension crashing. Plus it is an almost 7 year old platform that is outdated. The Nav sucked too, and believe it or not - highway mileage was in high 20's, city was around 11. Turbo spool on a heavy car.

But it looked GREAT!

The G is really in a whole new class. Well done in every aspect - tech, handling, build (so far), quiet, value, mileage (i got 25 on the freeway yesterday). Only complaint is the seat needs a little more support (fixing that at my auto upholstery guy) and i wish it had remote start. Other than that...i'm in love. Seriously. It's jsut an overall easy car to drive and enjoy.

Thanks for all the good welcomes. My SRT8 forum guys are all being great about my transition, too.

ps..i suck at camera work. Obvious, isn't it?

As you can tell by my other cars...it's only a 5 spoke for me. I like subtle and strong. Period. It is hard finding the right 5spoke sometimes tho. I didnt' spend alot of time looking...and these fit the bill for me. Offset, availability, saw it on others, and really affordable.

i hear you on the drop, tho. my previous jetta was slammed and just driving around in LA, valets, the roads, etc., will all f*ck up the car, so like you, i've decided to keep the stock suspension.

I would do a drop - but as cremaster says...not here in LA. I had to have two extra sets of my winglets (front spoiler) on the R made due to them being scraped and pulled off. And not by me...i KNOW how to drive. heh heh

I do like the look tho...tint is on, pics to come soon.

Cre - what color did you get?

Those look very small for some reason. Since you are not going to drop it I would have gone with 20's.

parkstr8,

i got the same hyper silver in the 19s and running 235 35 and 265 30 potenza re750s, front and back respectively. what tires are you running? size? my fronts are a bit streched but i got a good deal on the 235s. and my car is brilliant silver, so at a glance, our rides might look the same! haha

hey...i'm running Nexen - 245/35ZR19 and 275/30ZR19. I got a really good deal, and considering i only drive about 5k a year...i didn't need the best of the best.

We'll have to meet soon and compare. I'm in SM weekly and live Melrose/La Cienega.
