I ordered them by phone this morning So i call Bulletproof automotive and talk to this guy named Jeff. I tell him that I found some Kenstyle spats for 578 shipped from japanparts.com, and he says that he can't match that price but he would do his best so we agreed on 583 + tax which came to 630 shipped to me in CA. I say cool , let me do my research and get back to you.

I then decide to call your friend, think his name was actually Daren, cuz I asked if there was a Darrel and they said nope, just Daren. Anyways, he was busy so I talk to this other cat named Pete, sorry, you still with me haha long story short I ask him if he can order me the part and he says he can only sell me the full kit and cant part it out.

I think what he did was call bulletproof auto and ask if they would part it out and they refused to do so.

I called bullet back and Jeff says he would be happy to part it out for me since I was serious about purchasing them and decided to do business with Bulletproof instead of another company. He then tells me that this is the only Kenstyle kit available in the US for purchase, until another shipment of them comes in after three months, due to back order.

Looks good. I still prefer the machined with polished lip. I almost went with the chrome though-

I have been waiting to see what they looked like on a car. The Spats look great too! Nice ride!!

Honestly, I am not a big fan of DUB-Chrome stuff myself, but after I sit down plan out the theme of my car, I had decided to search for particular rims that are not too bling.

Then I've found MRR-GT1 and it looks really good w/ chrome imo. I'd go with machined w/ polished lip as well if I'd decided to go with a sportier theme

What can I say, racing days are over now I'm just a soccer dad and a cruiser
