I got the non sport version but with wheels and paddles and it cost me 600 ... and if i had just gotten the sport version i would have been happier.

But to be honest, i didnt really care for the bumper or the seats, but still i wish i had gotten it, since it had the suspension and brakes.

Only thing i dont like about the G is that it is bumpy as hell even more than an accord.

Go with Sport man. Better seats, better looking front end, better brakes, better wheels. I was in the same dilema as you. Sports are rare to find in my area. Was persistant and finally got one. No regrets

Everyone says the sports have better seats and bumper, but That's all subjective, b/c i know ALOT of people that don't like the sport seats (mostly larger people) and some of us like the journey front bumper. I admit the wheels look better, and the brakes are bigger....

well you can have the same wheels on the journey with the performance tire and wheel package... that's what I got and I personally like the non-sport bumper. But the things I miss are the aluminium pedals and bigger brakes my .02 cents

Front bumper, Limited Slip Differential, Bigger wheels & brake rotors, Paddle shifters, sport seats... putting these items as after market would cost significantly more than $1800.

I say sit in the seats. That was the biggest deciding factor for me. I'm average size and the sports were to narrow and uncomfortable in the hip area for me. With the 08's the back up camera comes with navigation package and I didnt realize how awesome having that camera is. The camera is something I use every single time I drive the car it is such a big convience. I ended up getting the journey with the 18" tire package and navigation. Im really happy with my choice. I dont track my car or use the brakes hard and long enough to create any fade. The limited slip differential would have been nice. Im planning on adding paddles.

Good luck on you choice.
