New Injen CAI will come with the following:

2 polished tubes (will be available in black also).
2 K&N filters
2 bracket holders
1 NEW wahser reservoir (you heard that right, a new one)
1 horn relocating bracket

For installation, you'd have to remove the front bumper. To service the filter, I think you can just take off the front plastic cover.

So far, I love the intake. It has changed my exhausts' characteristic completely. @ above 5000RPM, these tubes really open up!!! I mean, you can feel that so much air is being sucked in!!

I'm planning on cutting the front plastic grill (closed) on the side of the bumpers so it gets more air sucked it.

But yea... so far, I'm 100% satisfied with what these tubes can do to my car!!! I'm so happy that I waited all this time for a truly functional intakes!

As far as I know, no group buy directly from Injen, but if you can find a vendor who would, that'd be sweet.

Truly functional intake??? Prove it with dyno results, not from Injen.

Quote: Hey Blueslate nice setup and pic, i have a question though, does the injen CAI simply fit into the bay or do we have to play around with the washer reservoir to fit the intakes? And also how do u like em?
Thanks in advance
I hate to step on blueslates toes... but IMO you guys should realize Nissan made HUGE strides in the OEM intake setup of the 07!

The first thing I noticed when I test-drove it was how they stuffed the 2 intakes in front of the grille (* and the logical oil dip stick)... I'm hard pressed to understand how the intake can really get any better.

The OP is a great guy, so this is no disrespect... but when I drove the car when it first came out, honestly I thought the intake was the one thing that would be hard to better... I cant remember if they are straight tubes or baffled (I strongly suspect they realized G owners aren’t concerned about whisper intake so I think they are not baffled, I may be wrong) = but the location is optimal. I wouldn’t consider relocating.

All in all the 07 sedan fixed many of the pre 07 problems (maybe from these boards and after-market mod ideas) - so I realize its hard to do the same mods and make it better...

I will say this (and have said it many times) the 07+ is by far superior to previous gen sedans. FI is about the only thing I would consider on that car to make it better (or the mystical MD exhaust +).

Alan, did you notice any gains from this setup?... I'm sure there are posts about it - but I'm in this one

Yup, definitely. Lots of gain up in the high RPM. You can REALLY feel it.

BTW, they did the DYNO while I was watching them doing it. 5 pulls with stock box and 5 pulls with these tubes.

For average, I got 7HP gain at the top (at 95 degrees) on top of the FI exhaust and HFCs. Honestly, I didn't think it'd make this much with my exhaust setup.

I'll say it again, but these exhaust will get you more than 10HP alone (without other breathing mods such as HFCs or exhaust).
