Really nice job, and props on discusing this with the community, which has been dieing to get something like that for our lights, i do agree that it should have been white instead of orange, but will be waiting for a write up, ill do the saem but with white, once agin nice job on doing this!!!

Cant wait for the DIY....

Thanks for the replies.. I wasn't sure how many would or would not like it..
There was a post on another thread that had something similar of a headlight with orange around the projector piece and I thought it looked interesting enough to make an attempt at. I will get a write up here soon.. It's different in person and I may change it one day to white.. Wasn't too difficult, but if I did it again, instead of LEDs I'd probably find a angel eye kit and measure the size to mount behind so it's visible during the day (like the super bright ones you find on BMWs) - which, if any one knows where I can get these kits, let me know, and I may re-attempt

You'd need something like a 92mm CCFL ring. See if you can get them off a computer fan that come w/ ccfl rings attached to them. I tried the 80mm one but its a tad to small to fit around the actual projector.

I wish your headlight style was on my car.. those can be some crazy looking lights

WE can't do it like that because thats the coupe headlight, totally different from ours.

Orange and blue! My two fav colors but thats because I'm a die hard Knicks fan. You know what might actually look better is an orange horizontal strip and blue around the heads. Orange should be the more subtle of the two.

Sorry wasn't really reading properly but yeah I like the idea you had for our headlight just like these guys, I want all blue though.
