After coming home from a grueling 14 hour shift at work, I find a package in my hallway, and look what was inside.....



I'm going to wake up really early saturday morning and install it and give my car a real good detail, and take it to IFO on sunday.

Well, when i come home, i just unload everything i have on me on the counter, so yea, Everyday it's the same stuff: Cell phone, wallet, keys, pen, some change and my XD.... nothing wrong with that...

springfield XD9 sub compact for personal protection. I dont live in a bad part of town or anything, i just like to keep a gun on me, just in case i ever do need to use it, it'll be there. I do drive through probably the worst part of town on my commute to work though, so it makes me feel more confident to drive through there...

on a side note.. how do you like the subcompact xd? I usually carry the 4" .40 xd..and what holster are you using if you don't mind?

 

If you live in New Orleans and dont carry a weapon, especially if you're driving in the city, then you're just asking for it. With a nice car, at a stoplight in certain areas, a gun is a neccessity

 

I don't think i live in the hood, i mean it's not THE best place in the world, but the house is paid off, and it helps me save money/put money towards other things...

 

I love my XD, i've shot a few hand guns before buying my Xd, and I think it had everything i was looking for. Amazingly accurate for the size, small enough w/o being too small, and reliable. I've shot glocks, barretas, H&K's, and i liked it over all those (the H&K was nice though but at almost 800, ouch)
