New update: Malay it down?

After 3 months of waiting, my Airrunner suspension finally arrives from Japan. Me and the Refined Elegance family went straight to work. Love it or hate it, I'm going with more of the VIP style theme for this car. Plan to get wider barrels to give it a more aggressive stance. Hopefully shave and pull the front and rear fenders to fit the wider wheels. Got something in the works to modify the front bumper. Well here are the install pics we did this weekend.

Had to rip out the rear seats to run the air/controller lines.

Old H&R set-up

Installing Rear bags on the brackets

Super Special =p

Sneak peak of the Teams new logo on our hoodies

Me running the controller line

Getting down and dirty

5 gallon tank, 480c compressors and digital valves/solenoids mounted

Working hard, or hardly working?

Testing out the bags

Looks like they are all working

Took the car to a friends garage to finish everything off.

Ran into an issue with one of the air lines that kept getting loose

After 15 hours, finally finished.

Auto Pilot digital controller that controls everything.

She needs a car wash bad.

I do not drive at that height, only park it at the lowest setting. My ride height is the same height as when I had the H&R springs. The ride quality is very similar to stock, a little stiffer. The shocks have adjustable dampening but I havent had a chance to mess with it yet. I have no worries with speed bumps and steep inclines now since I just raise it up at a touch of a button.
Gonna give the car a good wash and take her for a shoot hopefully this week.
Thanks for looking.

Sick! One of my favorite 2nd gen sedans on the site. How much did it set you back if you don't mind me asking? Keep up the good work!

AWESOME! So, that's why you got rid of those JICs.

Are those KYB adjustable shocks compatible w/ just stock or aftermarket springs? I think a lot of people w/ just springs are looking for a good aftermarket shock alternative.

Thanks, suspension alone was around 4k. compressor and fittings that came with airrunner were crap, so I ended up upgrading the air tank, compressors, digital vales and solenoids, digital controller, extra fittings, air lines, gauge wires and other stuff. Total invested I believe was around $5500 but to me, it was well worth it.

Not sure if you can buy the shocks separately because Airrunner sells it as a whole suspension kit. If a shock blows, you send it in to Airrunner USA and they rebuild it.
